Galadriel - The Rings of Power

Cosplay based on Galadriel's armour from The Rings of Power, made for Manchester Comic Con 2024.

Armour

I used basic armour patters from Kamui Cosplay as the basis for this armour, adapting them to match the reference photos.

The armour pieces are made from EVA foam and foam clay, with some 3D printed details. I painted the foam with silver Flexipaint, then drybrushed with Darkstar Molten Metals acrylic paints to create a more metallic finish.

​

The chainmail is made from silver mesh fabric.

Sword

I also modelled and 3D printed a simplified version of Galadriel's sword. The blade of the sword is made from EVA foam.
